HAMMERTONE - Presented at MoMA PS 1's Summer Warm Up, the installation performed with the musicians Matthew Dear, Jamie XX, Sepalcure, Le1f, Pearson Sound and Lemonade. Hammertone is created from a fabric of woven LED strips and paper squares, networked through a series of sensors which read the aural vibrations created by the artists - responding through light, shadow and geometry.  MoMA PS 1’s Summer Warm Up runs from 2pm until 9pm every Saturday throughout the summer. At dusk Hammertone goes into action, producing a visual landscape that moves through light and shadow in response to the music being performed.
